Hard Copy Regional Base Maps

Photo Mosaic-based Maps, circa 1930's-1960's

Regional maps with wells include townships and sections (blocks/surveys, sections and abstracts in Texas), state and county lines and major roads and water features without ownership or lease information. Maps are available on paper without reproduction rights, or on film with reproduction rights.

SCALE:

• 1"=2000' - Available in units of 15 minutes by 15 minutes of latitude/longitude
• 1"=4000' - Available in units of 30 minutes by 30 minutes of latitude/longitude
• 1"=8000', 1"=16,000', 1"=32,000' (without wells)

COVERAGE: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, South Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, East Texas, Offshore Gulf of Mexico.  

SuperBase™ Orthophoto-based Maps, circa 1980's

These maps are created from digital files, and include the same information as the photo mosaic-based maps.  They can also can be combined with the orthophotography to create a composite map.

SCALE:

• 1"=2000' - Available in units of 15 minutes by 15 minutes of latitude/longitude
• 1"=4000' - Available in units of 30 minutes by 30 minutes of latitude/longitude, on a custom request basis only

COVERAGE: South Louisiana, Southeast New Mexico, Texas

PROJECTION:  Polyconic, Clarke's 1866 Spheroid, applicable state plane coordinates are shown
