Using the most current technology, the lease/ownership boundaries from the TOBIN 1"=3000' hard copy maps have been precisely fitted to the TOBIN SuperBase™ Orthophoto or U.S.G.S. 7.5-minute topographic quadrangle map base by TOBIN's staff of mapping experts.  Digital property ownership data representing a "snapshot" in time are created to provide the detail necessary to position lease outlines.  Digital Lease outlines are then created via conversion from the hard copy maps and new leases are added from courthouse records.

Lease/Ownership data are available in an ASCII relational table-based format which can be imported into many mapping/GIS software packages. TOBIN currently has over 200 counties/parishes available in digital form.

SCALE: 1:24,000

COVERAGE: Select counties/parishes - Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Mississippi (areas in other states will be developed on a request basis)
