Mapping Services
Following the negotiation of a joint venture with an agency of the
Russian government in 1992, TOBIN launched it's worldwide services. Our
association with Russian entities gives us access to a wide range of
resources vital to international mapping. The joint venture allows us to
use high-resolution satellite imagery of much of the earth's surface along
with Russian topo maps, and our network of aviation resources enables us
to conduct aerial surveys worldwide.
TOBIN is now offering Global PlannerTM in response to requests for a global map product that will serve the infrastructureplanning needs of companies with international operations and interests.
Global PlannerTM is a unique integration of satellite imagery, topographic maps and vector data covering the inhabited land areas of the world. The data is bundled using TOBIN’s DOMsView 2000, a simple to use application which allows for basic image viewing and red line marking.
Global PlannerTM provides a quick, effective and inexpensive way of viewing remote regions of the world. It involves over 3,300 topographic maps and is offered on a continent basis. Please contact Bruce Wallace at 210-402-5921 for more information.
