Satellite Imagery Processing
TOBIN has data from satellite sensors such as Landsat (5 7 bands), SPOT, (3 bands) and IRS-1C, (5m panchromatic and 3 band multispectral). This data creates ortho-rectified imagery for applications which include:
In the near future new high-resolution sensors will be launched by Space Imaging, EarthWatch and ORBIMAGE. TOBIN is developing production procedures to enable the processing of the wide range of black and white, color and multispectral data which will be available from these companies.
TOBIN has also developed a custom imagery product line called TruVue®. Off-the-shelf (OverVue) or custom-processed imagery is packaged with digital elevation model (DEMs) data , basic transportation/hydrography data (DLGs) and TOBIN's TruVuer imagery viewing and utility software for the geographic area of your choice:

| OverVue |
OverVue provides a broad-area view designed for planning and data management of large areas such as states, single or multiple counties, Major Trade Areas (MTA's), Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA's) and for other regional data requirements. OverVue is a natural color image map built to the 1:100,000 National Map Accuracy Standard. It can be directly correlated to such vector products as TIGER Data and USGS 1:100,000 Digital Line Graphs (DLG). Large facilities such as airports, interstate highways, malls, light industry complexes, baseball stadiums and golf courses can be identified. OverVue is not designed for viewing individual buildings, matching street addresses, or site planning.

| CoverVue |
Abroad-area view designed to provide the user with a comprehensive, color-coded, thematic map, showing the major land use / land cover activities. CoverVue is derived from Landsat source data, and is divided into eight specific land use and land cover categories: forest, grassland, water, dense urban, urban, suburban, transportation corridors, and major features such as airports. This product is built to the same map accuracy specification as OverVue. It can be used with OverVue or with any vector or attribute data set at the 1:100,000 map scale.
