TOBIN
Directory - Name and Address
Management System
TOBIN Directory is
one common repository for name and address information used across multiple business
applications within a company. The goal is to have one point of data entry for names and
addresses and reuse this information again as necessary. With multiple systems sharing
name and address information, a company can reduce its data entry costs and easily set up
other more complex information to be shared, compared or reused.
Today, many companies are reengineering their departments,
downsizing and redefining their business process for better efficiency, better
communication and better information sharing. A key component to these goals is sharing
information across many business applications. TOBIN Directory is a stand-alone
application for synchronizing name and address information across many departmental
applications. Allowing name and address information to be shared by many systems is a key
enabler to sharing other more complex information. TOBIN Directory performs this task in a
simple, easy-to-use manner, often transparent to users.
