These
data sets include transportation and hydrography from
the Digital Line Graphs (DLGs) digitized from the
1:100,000 topographic quadrangles and the National
Geographic Names Database, one of four that comprise
the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS). The
data have been reprocessed and reorganized, and the
multitude of feature codes have been combined into
distinct attributes, providing more flexibility in
mapping select features. In addition, topology has
been applied, allowing for water features to display
as polygons.
Tobin obtained Digital Line
Graphs (DLGs) digitized from the USGS 1:100,000-scale
