TopoVue™ is digital 7½ minute USGS Topographic Maps and Russian Topographic Maps that have been scanned at 250 lines per inch or a pixel resolution of 8 feet, georeferenced and converted to WGS 84 latitude and longitude coordinates and can subsequently be reprojected to any requested projection. These maps are 8-bit color images that have been extracted and merged with adjacent maps so that there is no overlap.

Along with other Tobin digital mapping databases, which were created according to specifications set forth by the energy industry, and as a result have become the industry standard, TopoVue™ products are now used in a wide variety of industries/applications and are designed to work with most mapping, computer aided drafting (CAD) and geographic information system (GIS) software. With high-resolution vector and raster data covering all of the continental US as well as other areas of the world, Tobin provides the most comprehensive, continuous high-resolution map base data coverage available. Projects are always under way to create new areas of coverage at higher resolutions. In addition, Tobin provides a wide variety of custom mapping services.
